The Jack Petchey Foundation

What is the Jack Petchey Foundation?

Sir Jack Petchey left school at 13, joined the Navy and following this applied for management training. He was told that he would never make a businessman and so the opportunity was denied to him. Instead of giving up he put his savings into starting a taxi firm and through hard work proved those people wrong and built a multi-million pound empire.

Sir Jack Petchey set up the Jack Petchey Foundation to inspire young people across London and Essex to work hard and reach their full potential. The Boys’ Brigade in London is pleased to be working with The Jack Petchey Foundation to recognise the achievements of our young people through their Achievement Awards scheme.
