SUMMARY:Bible Quiz
DESCRIPTION:The London District Bible Quizzes are run as ‘play at home’ competitions\, with an event for the Juniors age group and one for Company & Seniors. Although there is a competitive element\, we hope that the primary purpose of the events will be to enable children and young people to engage with the Bible in a meaningful way\, wherever they are in their own faith journey. The events can be run as part of your own sessions and in your meeting space\, with entries being submitted to us by email. \nBoth quizzes are based on the Disciples of Jesus with particular reference to Matthew 4\, 9 & 10; Mark 1 & 3; Luke 6\, 8\, 9 & 14; John 13. \nFull details\, including question sheets and guidance for leaders\, can be found below: \n\nJuniors\nCompany & Seniors\n\nThe deadline for entries is Tuesday 30th April 2024. SUMMARY:Top Team Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Top Team Challenge is a ‘play at home’ competition for members of Company & Seniors. It is based on a multi-task concept where young people are challenged to complete six tasks designed to test their physical\, logical and knowledge-based skills. \nThe competition is a national competition organised by The Boys’ Brigade and there will also be an award for the team from within the London District area that achieves the highest score. \nCompanies must register in advance for a competition pack and the deadline for entries is 30th April 2024. SUMMARY:Ten Pin Bowling Competitions
DESCRIPTION:The Ten Pin Bowling is a ‘play at home’ event with Companies able to compete at any time from 1st September 2023 until 30th April 2024. \nWith separate competitions for both Juniors and Company & Seniors\, as well as an individual and team competition in both age groups\, this is a great opportunity to organise an event for your company that is fun and engaging and then submit your results to the District. \nThe full details and rules of both competitions can be found here. \nA risk assessment should be completed for this event and you can download a template that can be amended for your Company here.
