The allocation of spaces within the Youth Enclosure at Trooping the Colour 2024 is being managed by the Volunteer Police Cadets Team, supported by YOU London. Due to it’s partnership with YOU London, London District will be taking the lead in organising the attendance from Boys’ Brigade groups from across the country.

Trooping the Colour has two events and we have an allocation of 40 spaces within the youth enclosure for both of these. The dates of each event are;

• Saturday 8th June
  Colonels Review, this year carried out by Prince of Wales
• Saturday 15th June
  Kings Birthday Parade

The youth enclosure is an area set aside specifically for Uniformed Youth Groups as a secure area for them to safely watch the parade. The space is limited to 500 people in total at Horse Guards junction with The Mall.

If your young people are interested in attending either of these events, please note the following before completing our online form:

• This is a standing area and as space is limited people will not be allowed to bring camping chairs or seating with them. Ground sheets are allowed if people wish to sit on the floor.
• Groups would need to be at the entry point to the Youth Enclosure for around 08:00 and no later than 09:00 on the day they have been allocated.
• The anticipated end time is 13:00.
• All leaders attending must be registered with The Boys’ Brigade and have completed their compulsory eLearning modules.
• All leaders must bring Photo ID with them on the day.
• Groups must be accompanied by two registered leaders at all times, including whilst travelling to and from the event.
• Groups attending must consist predominantly of young people.
• Should there be a large proportion of adults registered, we will contact you to discuss options available.
• Companies with only a small number of young people should not be put off from registering as our goal is to have as many young people attending the event as possible.
• Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Successful Companies will be informed by email, so please do not commit to travel arrangements until you receive confirmation.
