The Boys’ Brigade in London has a limited amount of funds available to support children and young people from companies within the London District area to attend a camp or residential. This scheme aims to remove financial barriers that may prevent individuals from attending events such as camps, KGVI leader training, and King’s Badge Completion Courses.
This grant scheme is called the Camp and Residential Grant Scheme and is for events that include an overnight stay, such as camps, overnight trips, or residential training.
Eligible applicants may receive a grant equivalent to 30% of the total event cost, with a maximum allocation of £75. Applications must be submitted by company Captains or the Leader in Charge via the online form, explaining why it would be difficult for the young person to attend if they had to pay the full cost. Successful applicants are required to submit photographic evidence and a brief written report following the event.
To apply for the grant for a young person within your company, please complete the online form. A response to applications will be made to the designated contact within 6 weeks of the application.
