This year, spaces will be allocated to groups from the West Midlands or Croydon, prior to being offered more widely
YOU London is also taking an active role in helping to shape and develop the pilot for the Kings Award for Community Service, a new award that is being introduced by King Charles III to recognise the positive contribution young people have within their community – More information about the pilot will be provided when we have it, along with the details of opportunities for young people to be involved with the consultation.
Finally, YOU London have put together an Arts & Culture Bulletin for Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London’s Council on Culture and Heritage. The aim of this bulletin is to provide information for young people, families and youth groups on free and heavily discounted access to arts and cultural venues in London. They have deliberately kept the information generic, so that it is not time dependent. If you have any comments (good and bad) about the bulletin, or suggestions for future inclusions, please let us know and we will pass the feedback on. It is hoped that this will grow organically with each edition. Edition two will be released in January and will include a page on art galleries and more classical music offerings.
