Virtual Youth Leader Training – Module 6 – Equal Opportunities

FreeOver the course of the 2023/24 session, London District will be delivering Youth Leader Training Modules virtually on the second Wednesday of each month. The timings will vary slightly depending on the module being delivered and leaders are welcome to join for every unit to complete the full Youth Leader Training Course, or attend just the units that are of interest, or for refresher training. All modules are free to attend and are open to all leaders, even if you are based outside London.

The objective of this module is to enable participants to work with young people in a way that is fair and just, and to be able to identify and challenge discrimination wherever it occurs in the course of BB activities.
At the end of this module participants will:
- Identify the main areas of disadvantage in society at large and how this is reflected in the BB
- Identify where BB is doing well and where we need to improve
