Virtual Youth Leader Training – Module 8 – Sharing Faith
Over the course of the 2023/24 session, London District will be delivering Youth Leader Training Modules virtually on the second Wednesday of each month. The timings will vary slightly depending on the module being delivered and leaders are welcome to join for every unit to complete the full Youth Leader Training Course, or attend just the units that are of interest, or for refresher training. All modules are free to attend and are open to all leaders, even if you are based outside London.

The objective of this module is to support participants in sharing their own faith and to enable them to assist children & young people in the exploration of their spiritual selves and the Christian Faith.
At the end of this module participants will:
- Have a basic awareness of the concepts of spirituality, faith and religion
- Have developed the skills to respond appropriately and sensitively to questions asked by children and young people
- Feel confident using structured and non-structured opportunities to talk about faith with the different age groups
- Have explored ways in which we can partner the local church in sharing faith with children and young people
