YOU London Leadership Development Weekend
This year, the YOU London Future Leaders Development Conference will take place at Kingsford Community School, Newham.
This annual event is a collaborative initiative hosted by the BB and 11 other uniformed youth organisations from across the city, held this year on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October.
The weekend is packed with inspiring speakers, including Hilary Carty from Clore Leadership, Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London and Flt Lt Simran Bahra, a recently qualified RAF pilot. It also features practical activities designed to help young people:
- Develop their personal leadership style
- Discover their individual strengths and weaknesses
- Pick up valuable tips from the experts
The event is free for members of uniformed youth groups in school years 10–13. Young people can attend on a single day or both days, depending on availability.
