An opportunity for young people who play an instrument to take part in major events
The London Massed Bugle Band (LMBB) is made up of young people who play either the snare drum, cymbals, bass drum, bell lyre or bugle.
Members are trained and are usually part of a band in their local group, with the LMBB providing an opportunity to come together for joint training opportunities and also to represent The Boys’ Brigade, Girls’ Association and Girls’ Brigade at major events such as the Lord Mayor’s Show and the London Marathon.
The LMBB can benefit young people in many ways, including musicality, leadership opportunities and as part of the BB and GB award schemes. It also provides young people with the opportunity to try new and interesting challenges and experiences!
LMBB events and activities are overseen by a team of experienced musicians who have first-hand experience of the benefits of being a part of the band.
If you have any questions please get in contact by emailing lmbb@boys-brigade.org.uk
You can also follow the band on Facebook, Instagram or X.
