The crematorium is not easily accessible by public transport and is too far from Clacton to walk there.
Friends and family are welcome to follow the cortege from Vic and Sue’s home in their own vehicles. If you wish to do so please contact David, Tim or Sue for details.
Celebration of Vic’s life:
12 noon Thursday 12th October 2023 at Christ Church URC
6 Carnarvon Road, Clacton-on-Sea CO15 6PH, followed by refreshments in the church hall
Vic’s preferences:
No black clothes, please, and gentlemen, if you have a colourful tie or waistcoat, please wear it! Vic loved his loud ties and, whilst he recognised that there would be tears at his funeral, he wanted it essentially to be a service of thanksgiving that Jesus, whom he loved above ALL had died that Vic and all who believed might live in Heaven with Him for all eternity.
Finally, if you have a teddy bear, please bring it with you (and be sure to take it home afterwards). Vic believed in the comfort of having a teddy bear to hug in difficult times moments
