On Saturday 25th January we welcomed 160+ Young People, Parents/Carers and Leaders to our Awards Celebration at City Hall.

The Awards Celebration was all about recognising and celebrating the achievements of young people and leaders from across London District. The event was held at the home of the Mayor of London and London Assembly overlooking the Royal Docks.

We are grateful to our special guests Deputy Lieutenant for Greater London, Craig Haslam and Chief Executive The Boys’ Brigade UK & RoI , Jonathan Eales for presenting the awards and sharing some words of encouragement.

Congratulations to all 82 award recipient’s who gained a variety of awards including King’s/Queen’s Badge, President’s Badge, Jack Petchey Achievement Awards, Jack Petchey Leader Awards and Deputy Lieutenant Certificates.

After the awards many groups took their award recipients out for lunch or an activity to celebrate. Activities undertaken included going over the Thames on the Cable Car, walking over The O2 Arena, and going for a boat trip on the river.

The Awards Celebration is set to become an annual event to celebrate all that is going on across London District.
